Grove Academy is a Candidate School for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Grove Academy believes is important for our students.
Our curriculum units are created using the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards. These standards are organized by age and provide a developmentally appropriate guide for educators and families.
At Grove Academy, we celebrate diversity and embrace the richness it brings to our learning community. Our commitment to global-mindedness is reflected not only in the curriculum but also in our efforts to create an inclusive environment that respects and values every individual. We believe that by fostering an early appreciation for cultural differences, we can contribute to the development of open-minded and well-rounded individuals who are prepared to navigate an interconnected world.
We offer a variety of enrichment opportunities and field trips to our students. Our teachers coordinate third party enrichment providers to align with our educational thematic units. These extra learning opportunities include music, art, physical education, Spanish, and STEM lessons from Elementary teachers at our IB sister schools, Happy Feet, Amazing Athletes, Brainy Bots, Mercy Full Project, and more!
